Prelude is a zombie game I made after getting to grips with flixel.

Don't give me that look, everyone's got to make one. It's a game dev rite of passage.

It featured dynamic terrain collapses, procedural levels, really, really stupid zombies and a severe lack of overall polish. Also, lots of bloom.

I spent quite a bit of time on it during my last year of high school. It was around this time I realised I might be able to make a living out of game development, though I didn't dare allocate more than my spare time to it.

There's a lot of discussion about it archived in this DRLFF thread, which has a lot of embarassing posts from a younger me. I think the topic also goes on to talk about RvR and other development towards the end, it turned from the prelude topic into a general discussion about my work.
