RvR will probably get its own forum once it's off the ground, just fyi.

However - Status: I've got Pathfinding kindaworking, bullets and actors and a map and whatnot going, I just need to make units find and shoot their enemies and get at least some of the content sorted before I go into OPTIMISE FOR ALPHA RELEASE mode.

Hahah, hell yes it did. It's based on both CC and soldat, and a tribute to both of them too, to hopefully get some cross pollination going between the communities. Both games could do with some new players, and regardless I've always wanted to see what CC would be like if it were a little more fast-paced and what soldat would be like if it was a little wackier, so that's the idea here, make both at the same time.

It could be as long as three weeks, but it really shouldn't be. I'm way, way too good at procrastinating studying for that to happen.

Trees are very very work in progress, but they're placed correctly for the most part so once the art's complete and I iron out the kinks in how the AI plays the map, Demo Map 1 will be pretty much complete. I'm trying to keep them all small because of the lack of graphical editor, so Map 2 will be a small forest skirmish and 3 will be an underground arena, hopefully the whole thing will net at least 1 minute for a play-through (1 round on each map)

I'd intended the demo level to have 3 massive maps decorated past all reason but since some of the map features aren't complete yet it doesn't make sense to put that much work in yet, especially if you guys want to play this game by next week...
